For this challenge we would like you to use the following three colours :)

Week 1 – A sketch by Tara G

Hi everyone and welcome back to the new and improved BasicGrey Challenges, we hope that you are enjoying the new look blog and have found your way around ok :)

Well here we are with our first challenge ,well technically its the 37th challenge, but as we have re – launched the blog we thought why not start the challenges with a clean slate :) , so i give you our first challenge , drum roll please :)

Our fabulous design team member Tara G has designed this wonderful sketch for us to play with this week :), feel free to flip, stretch and rotate the sketch to fit your needs, as long as the original sketch can be easily recognised you are good to go :), oh and don't forget to use at least one element from BasicGrey somewhere on your creation.

Now remember that we will no longer be offering weekly prizes, instead 5 lucky people chosen at random from this challenge will go through to the monthly prize drawing which has been sponsored by our one and only sponsor Simon Says Stamp, and believe me when i say the prize is a good one :)

Welcome Back :)

Yay, Its official, we are back :)

Thank you sooo much to all of you wonderful crafters for your support and your patience as we sorted things out here on BasicGrey Challenges ,as you know we did take our time coming back didn't we hehe, unfortunately the blog took longer than had been planned due to unexpected circumstances, but thankfully and finally the blog is all finished and ready to go :)

So what do you think, do you like the new look BasicGrey Challenges ?? much brighter isn't it, i love the new June Bug release from BasicGrey and thought that it would be perfect for the new look of BasicGrey Challenges and i am very happy with the finished look , and i hope you are too :)

Now you may notice the pages we have at the top of the blog, if you haven't already clicked on them then go ahead, you know you want to hehe, as you can see the look of BasicGrey Challenges isnt the only thing to change, we have now decided to become a fortnightly challenge blog so you and our fabulous DT have some extra time to do other things and take part in other challenges around blog land, which brings me to our next change, we now allow you to combine any and all cards you make for our challenges with any other challenge blog that allows you to do this, so this means that the DT can do this too which i know that they love as it means they can take part in challenges they have been dying to but just didn't have the time due to DT commitments, and oooo did you happen to notice the Meet the Team page, we thought that this would be nice as now you can see who we are and learn a little bit about us :)

As you know from the old BasicGrey Challenges blog we gave away prizes each week, well this is another thing we have changed, we will no longer be offering prizes for our fortnightly challenges, BUT .... we WILL be giving away a fabulous prize each month which has been sponsored by our one and only sponsor Simon Says Stamp, so even if you do combine your cards for our challenges you still have a chance to win a fabulous prize, go on check the how to play along page to learn more :)
